THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST THING I HAVE EVER BOUGHT. I WOULDVE GOTTEN MORE USE OUT OF A TANK OF GAS. THE APP NEVER EVER WORKS. PLAYBACK IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE BUYS ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT A FAKE SECURITY SYSTEM. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND SHOULDNT BE SELLING PRODUCTS THAT DONT WORK YET ARE MARKETED SO HIGHLY. NEVER AGAIN ALSO I HAVE A SECURITY SYSTEM FOR SALE HMU

Try deleting the app and reinstalling it. My problem is the new firmware they put out takes away the feature of viewing the recent activity through "push notification" without scrolling through all the camera footage trying to remember the time you got the notification. I hope they resolve this soon. Otherwise I really like the system.

I was having a problem getting my cameras to connect. Then I found this post written by SB. I followed the directions and my cameras connected. Thanks SB. I had problems with app too. I brought up menu on our TV for Night Owl. Then I made sure to copy name of device to app. And I used IP address. Also make sure you put in the password. Now the camera views show up on my app. Even though it never really told me it was "connected".

Night owl is run by a bunch of bitch ass dumb mother fuckers and it's disappointing that Costco would associate with these cocksucking faggots. The app is terrible. Only works for a few weeks and then won't connect to my phone. Probably run by a bunch of bullshit muslim/ISIS dropouts. Fuck this company. Spend your money elsewhere. FUCK YOU NIGHT OWL!!

App works on my cheapest android devices, the problem must be with the apple products, lol!

Everything worked great for the first few months, now the cameras wont connect on the app. The master screen at home works just fine, but on my app it just always says "connecting" but fails to do so. I am so disappointed. I bought these so that I could check on my home while out of town but I cannot do that, now I am back to square one. I really wish they would get this straightened out.

Its not opening. Cant see the cameras. Useless.

This app is disappointing. Push notifications dont work. That is kind of the point of getting the cameras in the first place.

The app seems to work as intended. However, it would be so much better if it worked on Apple TV. That would eliminate the need to run physical cables to my spot monitor(s) or having to dedicate an iOS9 device to AirPlay to Apple TV. Is this in the works at all? When I inquired with Night Own support, they had no idea but would log it as a suggestion. Somewhat disappointing.

The first 6 months after setup everything worked great. Mid April the mobile app stopped working. The master system on my wide screen TV works great. The app will not connect. Tried rebooting as directed and the apps worked for 1 day and then stopped again. Very frustrating. Email support told me that they could not help - told me to call tech support which I will now try. Come on guys, lets get your act together and fix the App..

As most reviews say, the connection needs work. It takes a few tries before actually connecting to the cameras other than that the family loves the quick access the app provides and such great camera quality

It worked great for about a month, then suddenly it failed to connect. I dont know what happened. I hope there is a fix update soon.

System works via remotely and sometimes it doesnt. Very frustrating, the point was to be able to view from remote locations but if I have to reset system daily in order to connect, whats the point?

Got the app everything works and looks good just get a network connection issue kinda pointless when you cant get alerted

App is never updated so you have to continually reset the system to factory default settings every couple weeks. PITA
